His association with both Gregorian Chant (which takes its name from him), and what is sometimes called the Gregorian Rite of Mass (the Traditional Latin Mass or Vetus Ordo) makes him an appropriate patron.

Readership and distribution: Gregorius Magnus is the only truly international magazine for Catholics attached to the Traditional Mass. It is read not only in England and America, but across Europe, in Latin America, and in the Catholic centers of Africa and Asia. It is available for free as a pdf and on the ISSUU platform, but it is also distributed in hard copy around the world to select institutions, such as the Traditional Priestly Institutes. It is handed out at Traditional Catholic events in Rome, and it is printed by local associations for their own activists and members.
